At Grassland Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Clinic, our goal is to make your visit as stress-free as possible. Our staff will submit your insurance claims to your insurance company and will assist you with any health insurance questions you may have. If chiropractic care isn't covered by your health insurance provider, we offer a cash payment rate for those who pay at the time of service. Please contact our office for time-of-service fees. There are three primary coverages for chiropractic care: health insurance, worker's compensation, and auto insurance or an injury settlement. We also accept payments made from Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), which are set up by some employers to cover high deductible health plans.
Health Insurance: Health insurance companies negotiate fees with chiropractors for chiropractic care and have a fee schedule for patients' portions. Typically, patients pay only a copay for chiropractic care. Physical therapy might be covered separately.
Worker's Compensation: If you were injured at work, notify your employer of your injury and inform the employer that you would like to be seen by Dr. Bollenbaugh of Grassland Chiropractic. This pre-approval for treatment of a work injury is required in most worker's compensation cases. If you were injured at work, your employer's worker's compensation insurance company will make payments directly to Grassland Chiropractic. The injured worker will owe nothing.
Auto Insurance or Injury Settlement: If you or the person responsible for your auto accident has medical coverage through an auto insurance policy, payments will be made by the auto insurance company to Grassland Chiropractic. If an injury settlement has been made, your attorney will pay Grassland Chiropractic out of the injury settlement. If you were at fault in the accident, your health insurance might cover the claims.
If you have any questions about your coverage, we encourage you to contact your health insurance company directly to verify coverage. You may also contact Grassland Chiropractic with any questions you may have.
Office Consultation/Exam – On your first visit, Dr. Bollenbaugh will review your medical history with you and provide a consultation and orthopedic and neurological exam in order to diagnose your problem.
If you have already had an x-ray or MRI performed, please bring the results for the doctor to review and provide an explanation or answer any questions you might have. X-rays and other diagnostic tests will not be ordered unless medically necessary. If you have been involved in a recent accident and haven't yet had x-rays,
Bollenbaugh brings a "team approach" to patient care that was developed
from his previous work in a multi-discipline clinic with medical
doctors and physical therapists. If necessary, he will make referrals
for conditions that should be treated by medical specialists.
Dr. Bollenbaugh will provide a report of findings and discuss a treatment plan with you. He believes his patients should have a voice in how best to
treat their pain or problems. Working together with a patient,
Bollenbaugh will develop a treatment and therapy plan.
